Characteristics:

HBIRM 0803/4 is a contactless temperature measuring system based on the detection of infrared  radiation. It is equipped with an infrared sensor(Thermopile) in front. When measuring temperature,The Thermopile Sensor has to be pointed at the target object correctly. The basic working principle is:

1. Detection of infrared radiation with a Thermopile sensor.

2. Further analogue signal processing.

3. Calculation of ambient and object temperature using a microcontroller.

4. Providing the ambient and objects temperature at digital output(SPI Operation).

The main application is in the industrial field, it embeds the customer system to measure the temperature of moving or inaccessible objects.
